Project Structure

The Governance Structure of TETRIS is coordinated by the Project Coordinator (INT), who acts as the central point of contact with the European Commission and oversees overall progress, reporting, financial compliance, and legal aspects. Strategic decisions are made by the General Assembly (GA), composed of representatives from all Project Partners, while the Steering Committee (SC), composed of the Work Package Leaders (WPLs), is responsible for the operational management of the project and meets on a monthly basis to monitor progress, manage interdependencies, and mitigate risks.

 

The governance framework is reinforced by independent Advisory Bodies, including the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) and the Patient Advisory Board (PAB), which ensure scientific excellence and patient-centredness, as well as by the Ethical Review Group, which supervises compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements.

 

The Scientific Advisory Board includes Professor Alfons Hoekstra and Professor Carolyn Taylor, internationally recognised experts in computational science and radiation oncology.

 

The Patient Advisory Board brings together patient representatives and advocacy organisations, including Bröstcancerföreningen Amazona Stockholm (Sweden)  and Cuore di Donna (Italy) alongside individual patient advocates. Their contribution ensures that patients’ perspectives are integrated throughout the project, supporting the development of research outcomes that are both scientifically robust and responsive to patients’ needs.
