In September, 17-18, the TETRIS consortium gathered in Barcelona, Spain, at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), for its 2nd General Assembly,
The meeting brought together project partners, scientific advisors, and patient representatives, providing a key opportunity to review progress, strengthen collaboration, and plan the next steps for the coming months.
Over the two days, representatives from all consortium partners, including INT, RS, VHIO, UniSR, POLIMI, AQUILAB, NEOLYS, FPGMX, took part in Steering Committee meetings, working sessions, and work package updates. A parallel session dedicated to communication and dissemination also engaged members of the Patients Advisory Board.
The General Assembly featured several educational sessions, including presentations on results and use of the RadioDtech and RadioProfile tests, Digital Twins in healthcare and radiotherapy, on cardiac calcifications and long-term risk prediction, DTs for radiotherapy framework and estimating absolute risks from modern breast cancer radiotherapy. These sessions were delivered by experts such as Sandrine Pereira (NEOLYS), Claudio Fiorino (UniSR), Paolo Zunino (POLIMI), Professor Alfons Hoekstra and Professor Carolyn Taylor, members of the Scientific Advisory Board.
A special thank you goes to the VHIO team for their warm hospitality and excellent organisation, to our Scientific Advisors, Professor Alfons Hoekstra and Professor Carolyn Taylor, for enriching the discussions with their valuable insights, and to the patients from the Patients Advisory Board associations, whose contributions remain central to the TETRIS project.
